Professor NOYKO STANILOV MD, MSc, PhD, FRCS

Professor Noyko Stanilov is a GMC Specialist Registered Consultant Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgeon, Professor of Surgery, and Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. With more than 21 years of surgical experience and over 15 years dedicated to breast surgery, he is recognised for delivering expert consultant-led care with a strong focus on clinical excellence, patient safety, and outstanding outcomes. He currently serves as a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at the Cambridge Breast Unit, Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, one of the UK's leading specialist breast centres. Alongside his NHS practice, Professor Stanilov continues to contribute to surgical education, research, and innovation through his academic and private clinical work. Professor Stanilov combines advanced cancer surgery with sophisticated reconstructive techniques, enabling patients to benefit from treatment that prioritises both oncological safety and cosmetic outcomes. His expertise includes breast cancer surgery, oncoplastic breast conservation, implant-based breast reconstruction, breast lump assessment, and complex breast surgery. Recognised for Excellence in Patient Care Professor Stanilov received the University College London Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre Staff Excellence Award in 2017, recognising his contribution to a one-stop symptomatic breast service based on patient and staff feedback. In 2023, he was also a finalist in the Health Service Journal Performance Recovery Awards for his contribution to improving breast care services. His approach is founded on meticulous surgical standards, evidence-based practice, and personalised care. Every patient receives an individualised treatment plan designed to achieve the best possible clinical, functional, and aesthetic outcome. Academic Leadership and Research Professor Stanilov has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications in tumour biology, breast cancer research, and cancer genetics, reflecting his ongoing commitment to advancing surgical knowledge and improving patient outcomes. After qualifying in Medicine at Trakia University Medical Faculty in 2003 and completing specialist training in General Surgery in 2010, he has dedicated his career to advancing breast surgery through clinical excellence, research, innovation, and the training of future generations of surgeons.

DR MITKO ITOV

Dr Mitko Iotov is a Consultant in Chronic Pain Medicine with a background in Anaesthesia and extensive experience across the UK and Europe. He has over ten years of postgraduate clinical experience, including more than four years at consultant level within the NHS. Since October 2025, he has worked full time in France, specialising in complex neuropathic pain, interventional procedures, and multidisciplinary pain rehabilitation.

Zlatko Georgiev is a qualified physiotherapist and osteopath with training in physiotherapy, osteopathy, acupuncture, and suction cup therapy. With over three years of experience, he focuses on relieving pain, improving mobility, and supporting recovery through a practical, patient-centred approach.
